As we begin the new millennium,
we look forward to more revolutionary new technologies, products,
and services that will be the culmination of partnershipS
between NASA and the private sector. In this year's Spinoff,
we take a look back at the many innovations spun off from
NASA's space research that provided numerous benefits in
the daily lives of the American public, ranging from home
and recreation products, to health and medicine technologies,
to environment and resources management, as well as industrial
productivity and manufacturing technologies. The Special
Millennium Feature takes a nostalgic glimpse into the past
and revisits some of the products that most heavily impacted
our lives. This section sums up the many years of hard work
and dedication from the NASA field centers and industry that
resulted in solid returns on America's investment in the
Space Program
